2019 is here!

-->
I feel it—that familiar twinge in my stomach that signals our little season of slow (albeit crazy) and available is coming to a close. Tomorrow, we all start our routines again. Daddy has been back for a while, but there is something so comforting about knowing today's goals are to love one another and play and clean, rather than spending all of our time rushing around to all the schools and pick ups and meetings and activities and appointments. It will be a little different than before though. At least I hope it will be.

I feel a little wiser, a little more experienced, and a little more ready to get things right this time. It’s a new year, and that always brings expectations and goals and new, yet, prayerfully, all I really expect and hope is that I will be a little more like Jesus than I was yesterday, and just maybe, my family will benefit from that. Just maybe I will have less expectations of others and rather than expect from them, I can serve them, love them, honor them, and mostly just show a little Jesus to them—them being the little people and the big people. Maybe, I'll be a little more grateful, too.

Much can be said of the last three weeks—they were full of sickness and naps and cleaning and crazy and driving and cooking and laughing and reading and hand holding and cuddling and singing, but they were also full of small decisions and face to face time and memories that I will close my eyes and see again.

Let’s do this 2019.

We’re ready for you.
