Half-Birthday!!!

Happy half-birthday to our little love bug! She requested a cake with chocolate icing and sprinkles! Can you tell where most of the icing went?? :)

A Swingset, a Shower, and our new H-O-M-E!!!!

Last Thursday we closed on our new home, and we got the keys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Garage, more family time and no stairs....here we come! :) 

Friday was our five-year anniversary, but we just high-fived and kept on going. We celebrated by working on our new home together! :) Next Spring, we hope to take our first vacation together since our honeymoon! That keeps me going--even if it is just a weekend away! :) This past weekend was pure craziness, but it was worth it! :) On Friday, Papa and Niecey were here, so we loaded up both of our vehicles and headed to Toys R Us to pick up Ave's swing set!! Super big thank you to Ave's grandparents, aunts, and uncles for making this possible!!! They all gave her gift cards for Christmas, and we saved them until now! I even had a 20% coupon! :) Of course, before we left the new house, this was the swing set! The boys stayed till dark to work on it though, and B was determined to have it ready for Ave when we got there the next day!

The next day, Aunt Jamie, Mom Mom and Aunt Paula met us at the princess castle, and we all headed to Richardson! My sweet friends through us a "sprinkle" and it was so wonderful! Everything was decorated so cute, and it was so wonderful to have so many parts of my world in one place!!!

Jamie's beautiful mantle was transformed for the shower! :) I LOVED all the precious details.

 I can't believe that I have almost been friends with these sweet girls for eleven years. They have been a part of so many important events in my life, and I am so very blessed by them!!!!!!!!! (Thank you, Alise, Lala and Jamie!) Of course, my girl loves them too!!!

 The girls gave Avaree a special gift before the shower started! She LOVED it, and I loved that they made her feel so special! :)

 After I finished opening gifts, I tried to give a little "thank you speech", and of course I started crying. As soon as Avaree saw my tears, she started crying too. She is so preciously empathetic and tender toward me. 

She asked me why my eyes were hurting. Sweet baby girl...

So she needed a little extra loving..., and I did too.

I loved getting to have some of my college friends, my First Hurst friends, my Little Elm friends, and some of my family all in one room. I felt so blessed, and sweet baby #2 (along with big sister) is so blessed to be loved by so many! :) Thank you to my precious friends for showering us with your love and prayers!!! So thankful!

We stopped at the Princess Castle to change, and then we headed back to Arlington to take our shower gifts, see the swing set, and do a few projects around the house!

Remember, when we left the house the day before, the swing set was a plethora of boards and bolts on the ground! This little girl was E-C-S-T-A-T-I-C when she saw her swing set for the first time. She has been praying for it every night. 

My girl has a swing set; my dreams are coming true before my eyes!!!

Our little family! I despise this picture of myself, but I love what it symbolizes!!! This is our new home, and our daughter (and future kiddo) has a swing set!!!!! Can I get a "Thank you, precious Lord?" :) I'm soooo full of joy! 

 Aunt Jamie, painter extraordinaire, directed us in painting the baby's room and Ave's room! They both look so great!!!! I can't wait to get our stuff in there and take "after" pictures! :) (Thank you, Aunt Jamie!!!!!)

 Uncle Darrin won the awesome prize that day by writing Avaree's name on the wall in her new room!!! :) Her room looks soooooooo good now!

A HUGE thank you to all of our family that helped us out with projects this past weekend!!! 

We move in this weekend, and we can't wait! :) 35 weeks prego seems a perfect time to move--haha!
