Nine month well baby visit!

At Avaree's well baby visit yesterday, we learned that...
*She weighs 21 lbs and is in the 75-90th percentile for her weight!
* She is 29.3 inches tall and is in the 97th percentile for her height!
*Her head measured 18 inches putting her in the 90th percentile among her peers!
*She also received an A+ for her development!

At nine months...
Avaree pulls up to standing (on EVERYTHING).
Avaree "walks" holding on to our hands or around one side of the ottomon.
Avaree finds nothing that is out of her reach! :)
Avaree's favorite book is still I Love You More Than Rainbows. In fact, she starts fussing when it is over and will continue until you start reading it again. Our current record is eleven reads before I had to hide it! :)
Avaree's favorite songs are: "The Tree Song," "He's Got the Whole World in his Hands," "Far Away Places" and "Jesus Loves Me."
Avaree really loves to hear all of the animal noises and to go through "head, shoulders. knees and toes!"
Avaree's favorite thing to watch is "Baby Praise: Born to Worship." I whole-heartedly recommend it too!
Avaree loves to say "da-da-daaaaa-daaa" and is also stringing more consonants together every day!
Avaree is growing soooo fast and loving every minute of it! :) (as are we!!!)

(Mama is soooooooo excited that Avaree's hair can hold bows now!!! YAY!!)

I start on my knees...then pull straight up! :)

On the move...and family time!

This week was craaaaaazy! Mama had a conference from 8:30 to 4 every day (boo...) so Granmama kept her part of the week and Gigi kept her the other. (Thank you!) Besides having lots of family visiting, Avaree had bronchitis and was cutting four teeth at once, and Mama had bronchitis too! For being a working mom, you would think that I would be okay with a week of "workdays," but I was NOT! I loooooooove summer with my little family and am so thankful to be back home! :) YAY! Please enjoy the pictures!

Happy Father's Day!!!!

Our day started with Avaree waking Daddy up with cards and golf balls! She also helped Mommy make him his favorite cake! (Seriously, she stirred and got batter ALL over the wall...so worth it though!) :) Avaree loves her Daddy!!!

Dear Daddy--

Thank you for playing "monkey" with me, singing to me, throwing me in the air, getting up early to feed me breakfast, tickling me, making me laugh so hard that I cry, saving me from the vacuum cleaner, changing my poopy diapers, keeping the tv turned down low so that I can sleep, and (most of all) for loving me so well.

A whole new world... :)

This last week has been such an adventure! Watching Avaree's little world expand before my eyes has been pure joy! I love, love, love being home with her and try not to think about how quickly our precious summer is passing by!

It is so hard to choose "just a few" pictures to post on here, but please enjoy! :)

She loves to sit in the hallway and wait for me to come "get her!" :)

She loves to walk with assistance! :)

She concentrates really hard! (As you can tell, for the first few days after she started crawling she had strawberries on her knees! This made me so sad, but they never bothered her a bit! It must be all the kisses that we gave them!)

She still loves to play with mama! :) In fact, one of my favorite things as of late is that every time I pick her up, she squeezes my neck and gives me the best hug! This makes my whole life!

"I love you Mickey!" Yes, she still loves Mickey and now she wants to touch him! Don't worry, we do not let her do this, nor do we lit her sit this close to the tv, but it was picture worthy, so I snapped a pic, then grabbed her! :)

She has started twirling the hair in the back of her head when she gets tired! This is the cutest thing EVER!

She still loves to rock! :)

AND now she is standing in her crib!!!! Where does the time go?
