Christmas morning started bright and early for this little love bug that got up earlier than she EVER does! :) We had some good snuggle time together, and I put some soft Christmas music on while we waited for Avaree and Daddy to wake!
Avaree came in the living room around 7, and by 7:15 we were all waking Daddy up! :)

They couldn't believe that their stockings were on the floor and filled!
It was hilarious to watch the girls open their stockings! Avaree quickly pulled out the four packages of fruit snacks that were on top and was looking for more! Felicity's very favorite thing was the fruit snacks though. She wanted to eat them right then, and she could have cared less what else was in her stocking! ;) Too funny!
She kept showing us her fruit snacks!
The girls each got matching little cereal bowls with straws attached, and that was one of their favorite things! Avaree always wants to drink her almond milk out of it now --with no cereal in it!

I loved watching the girls open their stockings, but I was beyond excited for Daddy to open his gift!!!! The girls and I had found it a couple of weeks before, and it was killing me to not give it to him earlier!
Matching Superman onesies for Daddy and brother!!!! We also made him a little card that told him how he is better than all the other super heroes, and that he is our earthly hero!! :)
Then, it was Avaree's turn for her wrapped gift!

She opened her very own nerf bow and arrow, and one for her Daddy too, so that they could play together! She had been talking about wanting one for months, so she was pumped!!! I can't tell you how much fun those have been the last few days!
She also got an addition and subtraction wipe off board that was Frozen themed!
…and someone finally opened some fruit snacks for little sis! She was seriously so happy. A box of fruit snacks is the key to this girl's heart!
The girls helped me open my present (i'm wearing it in this pic!), and then we had to open Felicity's for her!

After the wrapping was picked up, my Superman built us a fire, and we snuggled on the couch (in our jammies) and watched the Disney Parade! It was Frozen themed, and we all loved it! I also pulled out our breakfast from the crockpot, and we ate it all together (on the couch--a special Christmas treat!)! Brandon had requested a cinnamon roll casserole that he had seen on social media, so that is what we had! It was delish!
…and this may be one of my favorite pictures ever! It was a perfect Christmas morning!!!
After the parade, the girls just played with their toys (Felicity got a baby doll in a basket, and she LOVED it.), and we lounged around together. Then, Daddy and I started making lunch! While we were cooking, Grandmother and Pop stopped by to see the girls and give them their gifts!
Felicity has a special little love for Pop! She always gives him extra love!

After that, we enjoyed a lovely Christmas lunch in our jammies! Daddy made steaks, and we had baked potatoes, green beans, and carrots! It was relish and fun to prepare and clean up together!
After lunch, we put little sis down for her nap, and big sis and I make cookies for Jesus' birthday!
Avaree said that pumpkin spice cookies were His favorite! ;)
After little sis woke up, we sang Happy Birthday to Jesus and enjoyed some cookies together!
Then, we enjoyed a wonderful afternoon and evening together just playing together and relaxing! It was absolutely perfect!
Around 7, I bathed the girls and put them in their new footie jammies! They were a hoot!
They wanted to "try" to sleep together, so I gave them a five minute trial, and I came back to find this! ;) Needless to say, little sis went back to her bed, but I'm so happy that they WANT to sleep together. That will make the eventual transition easier!
We had the merriest Christmas together, and I am so very thankful for the celebration and relaxation that we enjoyed together! We loved celebrating Jesus' birthday with our girls, and I can't even express how much we needed a good, relaxing day together! Next year, we will have a 6 year old, a 2.5 year old, and an 11 month old! Everything will be new and exciting all over again! :)
In John 10:10, Jesus said, "I have come that they might have life and have it to the fullest."
So thankful for that little baby that grew up, died on the cross for my sins, and forever changed the world. Merry Christmas, everyone!
