Arboretum with Friends

Monday morning, the girls and I headed to the Dallas Arboretum for a morning with friends! One of my sweet friends has a season pass, so we were able to all get in on her pass! Holly and Kendall rode with us (so fun!), and we had a wonderful time! I have only been to the Arboretum once, and it was for Spencer and Shannon's wedding reception (so it was dark)! I was sooooo impressed with the beauty and wide open spaces! :) We packed a picnic, and we had our lunch on a blanket on top of a hill overlooking White Rock Lake! It was one of those moments where I was feeling beyond blessed, and I could feel the tears coming, and then Avaree spilled orange Gatorade everywhere, and I laughed! :) I can't wait to go back to the Arboretum!!!!

 It was really cold when we first got there, so F still had her had on, but this was my attempt at getting both girls in a pumpkin picture while making sure F didn't fall over, and A was quasi-looking at me--haha! :)

The Park with Mom Mom and Pop Pop

We spent two hours at the park today! It was glorious. :)  My big girl had the best time!!!

Felicity took a lovely nap in her stroller, and then she enjoyed swinging!!! :)

She even got to swing by herself for the first time!!!!! :) She LOVED it!

Carrots, a Cat and a Haircut! :)

Mom Mom and Pop Pop came to visit for a couple of days, and they got to witness some big changes in our household! :)  Felicity is eating baby food now! She still doesn't love it very much, but so far she has had carrots, sweet potatoes and mangos! :)

They brought Bella with them, and Avaree has had a blast with her. Bella even lets her carry her around everywhere!!!

Avaree got her hair cut!!!! She has had her hair trimmed several times, but this time we got it CUT! She had been asking to cut it short like Mommy's, and it really is a tangly mess every night, so...I begrudgingly let her get it cut. This is the before picture from Aunt Tess's chair!

I think she looks so much more grown up!!!! We love our Aunt Tess!!!

They are both growing so fast. I am so, so, so very blessed to get to spend my days with them.  It still feels like a dream!
