December Days :)

Felicity is crawling EVERYWHERE and pulling up on EVERYTHING! :) 

 She is FINALLY sleeping again, and she is saying "Ma Ma" and "Da Da!" We are more in love with her every day!

This shot is from Daddy's last day of course work. We had both computers going, and I had a coca- cola and a cup of coffee! That was serious stuff! :) We worked for hours and hours, and we finally finished! yay!!!

Last week, we also got to see TIMBER and her beautiful Mommy! :) 

It's never long enough, but it was wonderful! These two are precious together! I have loved watching them grow up together!

…and my girls have been playing so well together lately!

 We decorated Christmas Tree ice cream cones with icing with our friends! Of course, I caught Avaree decorating her tongue with the purple icing! ;)

 Mrs. Carrie also made beautiful sugar cookies for us to decorate! It was so fun!

 …and the best email that we received last week was Daddy's 100% completion audit! :) YAY!!!!! 

He will get his diploma in 6-8 weeks! I can't wait to frame it!

A December to remember for sure… :)

Avaree's Christmas Party at School

I LOVED getting to go to Avaree's Christmas party at school! She was so proud of her classroom, her teachers, and her friends, and she LOVED introducing Mommy and "sissy" to all of her friends. She proudly told one of her little friends, "This is my sis!" :) I cried through the first part of it because I was just so happy to be there. I have never been able to go to any of her parties because I was always working. I felt so blessed that I was able to be there! :)

 When we got there, the party was just starting, and Avaree immediately took my hand and wanted me to watch her play the bing bag toss! :)

 So thankful for Avaree's little school! Although I don't feel like she is learning much academically, she is learning more scripture and bible stories, and it is a wonderful outlet for her! I can handle the educational stuff at home for now! :)

Play Date with Friends

The girls and I met our friends, Mrs. Kristin, Sydney and Lexa at the park the other day, and I actually brought my big camera! :) 
It was a beautiful 70 degree day, and a perfect day for the park!!!! 

 The girls had SO much fun running and playing together! Avaree just adores these girls (and I love their Mama!!)!

 Felicity wanted to run with them so badly!!!! She didn't stay on the blanket long! ;)

 This picture melts my heart to smithereens. I didn't tell them how to pose or anything! This is sweet friendship and love! I am so, so grateful for our community here in Arlington.

Avaree's Christmas Program!

Avaree goes to school for a little less than four hours, two days a week, at Fielder Road Baptist Church here in Arlington. She has the sweetest teachers, Mrs. Fleniken and Mrs. Huckaby, and she has learned several sweet songs and bible verses! Her teachers have also been great with her food allergies, and if ever they have a question, they always call me immediately. I love that! 

A couple of weeks ago, they had their Christmas program, and it was AMAZING! :) Avaree and her classmates learned TWELVE songs! And let me tell you, my child knew every word and every motion to every song! She has been singing them at home for weeks, and, best of all, they were songs about JESUS! :) Her Christmas program the last two years has been secular, and I LOVE that she is learning the TRUE meaning of Christmas even at SCHOOL! :)

Her favorite songs this year were: "Happy Birthday, Baby Jesus" and "What Can you Carry on a Donkey's Back!" :)

As usual, she was right at home on stage, and she smiled the whole time! :) Her music teacher is WONDERFUL, and her thirty-minute program was PERFECT! :)

Daddy FINISHED!!!!!

Words can't express how proud I am of my husband. It would have been easy to quit at various times throughout this journey. He started school five months after we got married, and he finished four months before our six-year anniversary. He also completed school through two different schools, two different newborns, a NICU stay for our littlest, many illnesses, four moves, endless commutes, three different real jobs, two extra jobs, a full time family and so much more!!! It was never, ever easy, and he stayed up until 4am at least three nights a week, but IT IS FINISHED.

As a surprise to Brandon, I ordered the girls Liberty University t-shirts, and we had a little photo shoot in the backyard! The picture at the bottom is framed in a pretty red frame in B's office! :) Enjoy!

Thank you for all of your prayers on this journey! It doesn't even feel real yet, but we are so GRATEFUL to be finished! YAY for more family time and a new chapter in life! :)
