Christmas Eve

Santa came to our house on the night of the 23rd, and we enjoyed watching Avaree's little face light up on Christmas Eve morning!! Of course, we were up before her, and we had to wake her, so you'll notice her sleepy face turn very quickly to her excited face! I didn't get very many pictures because I was just enjoying the moments with my family!! Next year we will be adding another stocking!

 Once Daddy got Cinderella opened though, Avaree was all about her! She sings when you wave her magic wand over her dress!!! :)

While Ave played for a couple of hours, we packed up and headed out around 10:30 am to meet Uncle Spencer and Aunt Shannon for lunch at the galleria!! They were at Shannon's parents house in Mesquite for Christmas, and we were soooooooo happy that they were able to meet us!! We were going to miss them all the way around for Christmas, so it helped to be able to see them--if only for a little while! We exchanged presents and had a yummy lunch at The Grand Luxe before saying bye bye. I didn't take any pictures during lunch, but we have fun memories!!!

After lunch, we went straight to Arlington for Daddy to get ready for the Christmas Eve service at LABC! Ave fell asleep on the way there, so I sat in the church parking lot for an hour letting her take a nap!! Then, we went inside and played until time for the service to start!!!

Avaree had a WONDERFUL time running around and playing with two of her favorite new friends--Alaina Grace and Jonathan!!!! :)

Avaree thinks that Alaina Grace and Emma Grace are princesses, and she wants to be just like them!

After the wonderful Christmas Eve service at LABC, we headed out for Hemphill! Of course, we were starving, and not much was open, so we had McDonald's for Christmas Eve Dinner! ha! :) We got to my Mom's around 11:30pm. We stayed there until around 4pm the next day, and then we went to my Dad's and spent one night there before heading out around 11am on the 26th. We got home just in time for Ave to play in what was left of the snow and play with her toys!! Daddy worked the next day, and we enjoyed sleeping in our own beds for one night, and then we headed out to Houston for two nights at Darrin and Jamie's house and Christmas with the Bartons! We were happy to get home on Saturday night, and we have spent three glorious days at home since! :) Much more to come!
