To B/CS and Back!

A couple of weeks ago the girls and I took off for B/CS on a Friday morning, just before Felicity's nap, so that we could go to Aunt Jamie's baby shower on Saturday! Daddy was leading worship for the Men's Conference at LABC, so he couldn't come. We missed him so much!
Before we left, Uncle Scott came over to drop off a present for Baby Blair, and he got some Felicity time! She wasn't too sure at first, but as soon as I gave him her favorite book (I have to hide it most days!), she was all about Uncle Scott!! :) These two are birthday buddies tomorrow!

It was a terrible trip, and I won't go into details, but mommy was very sick, and Felicity was very anti-traveling! ha. We finally got to Gigi and G-Pops house though, and we had a pretty relaxing afternoon. Then, that evening, Avaree helped Gigi and G-Pops make "dolphins" with bananas and grapes! She loves to help in the kitchen!

That night, Felicity took a sink bath! :) 

…after she went to sleep, guess who else took a sink bath? You can imagine that hers was a little more wet exciting! :)

…and then she was exhausted from all the excitement! ;) Ha--for a little girl that doesn't sleep soundly, she sure makes sleep look good!

We FINALLY got home later that evening! Felicity screamed from Hillsboro to Arlington! At some point, you just have to laugh! We got to Arlington just in time for a little break between sessions at the Men's Conference, so we got to stop and say night night to Daddy! Felicity was soooooo happy to see him (and to get out of the car)!

Mommy had a shower for a sweet friend after church the next day, so as soon as I got home, Daddy went back to church and the girls and I went outside for a walk! :)

February: The Month of Love and Craziness, Part 3

The last full weekend of February, we headed to College Station to see family and for me to take Uncle Darrin and Aunt Jamie's maternity pictures! :)
These are a few of my favorites! Of course, it helps that D and J are handsome and beautiful and super happy about sweet Baby Blair!!! J is glowing, and it was a true honor to get to capture these moments for them! :)

Thanksgiving 2013

Our Thanksgiving adventures began on the Wednesday afternoon before Thanksgiving! Mama had a couple of photo shoots that morning, and then we headed out! We stopped in Centerville, and I took a few pictures at Woody's Smokehouse! It was packed! :) 

Avaree was in a hilarious mood!

The first half of our trip was not bad at all, but it took us 6.5 hours to get to Houston, and let's just say that it was rough! ;)

…and this did NOT last long! :) It sure is cute though! 

We met Mom Mom and Pop Pop in Houston and stayed at a hotel near Spencer and Shannon's house that night! It was an adventure for sure! :) This was our Thanksgiving family pic before we left the hotel! :)
