Our Dream Disney Trip, Days 4-5: Hollywood Studios and Home!

I'm almost sad to blog day four of our amazing trip because that means it's over! :( We had a wonderful last day at Disney! We got up around 7am, and we got the girls dressed and ready for Hollywood Studios! We took the bus from our hotel, and we got to the park right before it opened. 
Doesn't it look like a beautiful day?! As soon as we walked in the gates, we were greeted with the Frozen soundtrack and SNOW! :) 

 It's hard to see, but it snowed for fifteen minutes, and it was incredible Disney Magic! :) The girls LOVED it! :)

We headed straight back for our breakfast reservations at Hollywood and Vine (also known as Disney Jr's Play and Dine) Restaurant! (Side note: I originally had reservations for three character meals and one non-character meal, but because of cost, I ended up canceling two of those, so this was only our second real sit-down meal since we got to Disney!) 
While we waited for them to call us to our table, Felicity perused our activities for the day! :)

This breakfast and character(s) experience did NOT disappoint! The breakfast buffet was literally the longest buffet I had ever seen. It kept going and going and going! Felicity LOVED the Mickey waffles and eggs, while Avaree loved the eggs and bacon! Daddy enjoyed the biscuits and gravy, and Mommy loved the fresh fruit and hash browns! Everyone was happy! (Another side note: Felicity was free everywhere we went! She had her own plate and drink and everything, and she was free! That's pretty awesome of Disney.) 

 To top off our YUMMY breakfast, we got to sing and dance with (as well as meet and take pictures with..) Doc McStuffins, Sofia the First, Handy Manny, and Jake! The girls were beside themselves!

After our breakfast fun, we headed to the back of the park for the Frozen Sing Along with Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff! This show was absolutely incredible. Elsa, Anna, AND Kristoff were there, AND it snowed all over the theater during "Let it Go!" I looked at B at one point and just started crying! Avaree was SO happy, Felicity was SO entranced, and I just can't tell you how wonderful it was to experience that together! :)

 Do you see the snow?? Now, imagine EVERYONE (including lots of little voices) singing "Let it Go" at the top of their lungs!!! It was incredible!!!!

Next, we went straight to Disney Junior Live on Stage! Puppets gave us a live version of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and then Jake, Sofia and Doc came to visit! :) There were also bubbles, snow, and gold d'blooms! :) This was one of my favorite moments too!

 After the show, we headed down to Pixar Palace and road Toy Story Mania on our fast pass! There were SO many people in line for stand by, and we just walked right in! (If you're going to Disney soon, research what to use your fast passes for!! It saves SO much time!) I didn't get any pictures in Toy Story, but Daddy and Ave loved it, Felicity screamed, and I was barely able to make it through as it went in circles! haha!

Next, we headed to the back lot to meet Sully and Mike!

 After that, we gave the girls drinks and snacks from our cooler, and we headed to the air conditioning inside the Art of Animation Building! Daddy and Ave met Frozone and Mr. Incredible!

 Mr. Incredible danced with Avaree as if she was the only little girl in the whole place! 

While they were in line for the character greetings, Felicity, Baby and I found a corner, and she went right to sleep. One would think that this was a brilliant idea, and it was, until I tried to get up. Both of my legs (whole legs and feet) were completely asleep!! It was hilarious to try to get up! :) At least Felicity got a good nap in the A/C while Daddy and Ave went exploring to see how the Disney creators drew the characters!!

 After one got a nap and one explored, we headed over to use another fast pass for Star Tours! While they enjoyed that ride, Felicity and I got ourselves a treat and found some shade! She got a strawberry fruit popsicle, and Mommy got a coke! :) haha 

Next up, we went to an incredible production of Beauty and the Beast!!!! 

(Side note: the girls did GREAT at sitting through three thirty-minute shows in one day!)

 We LOVED Beauty and the Beast! I brought out the big gun snacks, and everyone was happy! 

 Finally, we head to Indiana Jones for Daddy! :) 

We did a few other things that I didn't take pictures of, but it was getting really hot, and we were all getting tired, so we said, "Bye bye, Hollywood Studios!" 

 We came back to the hotel around 3:45, and then we let the girls play in the splash park! That evening, we enjoyed a Rice Krispie picnic while Mommy packed us up! Felicity had it EVERYWHERE! 

We all slept really well, and then we left our room around 7am to drop our amazing stroller off at the front desk, and then take our luggage to the airline check in (at our hotel)! Then, the Magical Express Bus picked us up and whisked us away to the airport. We were all so sad to leave!!! 

 The plane ride home was SO easy! (of course, haha!) We were on a big plane, and we had our Daddy with us! Felicity actually fell asleep right before take off, and she slept on me for the first hour and a half of the flight! When she woke up, the girls played together in the seat between us and read books! I did have to get Elmo out toward the end, but that was nothing comparatively! Avaree loved getting water refills from the flight attendant, and Daddy read a magazine! I'd say that was a successful flight! 

I'll forever treasure these four days together with my family! It was magical and wonderful and perfect and fun! (Any former students recognize that as a polysyndeton?) 

I'm so thankful that the Lord provided us this amazing opportunity!!!! 

I already have plans for our next trip, even if it is several years down the road! ;)

Once we arrived back in DFW, we got our car and headed for Mexican food! :) Then, we let Felicity take a nap in the car while we waited for our doctor's appointment to find out if we're having a boy or a girl! :)

Our Dream Disney Trip, Day 3: Magic Kingdom!

We started out Day 3 with the Magic Kingdom Welcome Show again! We loved it so much the day before, and it was also a great way to get a head start on all of our attractions for the day! :) Since we had completed 19 attractions the day before, we slowed our pace just a little for Day 3!! :) I knew that I was saving the very best activity for last on this day, so I tried to pace everyone to make it, as we had a fast pass to meet Elsa and Anna at 4:20 pm! 
On this particular morning, we ate Rice Krispies in our hotel room, and then we headed for Magic Kingdom! It was a beautiful morning, so we just enjoyed the 5-7 minute walk from our hotel! :) We walked straight up to gates, and the welcome show started about three minutes later! It was awesome! :)  I cried again, and the girls and Daddy loved it again! Have I mentioned that there is something just inherently magical about this place? (And it doesn't hurt that everyone calls you princess!) :)

After the welcome show, we headed straight for Tomorrowland to let Avaree and Daddy ride Space Mountain again! (When we ask Avaree her favorite thing about Disney World, she says it was riding Space Mountain with Daddy twice!!) We knew if we went first thing that we wouldn't need a fast pass, and they wouldn't have to wait! They said it was awesome! Do you see Ave in the front and screaming with a big smile on her face??! :)

 After they got off, we went straight to Buzz Lightyear! This was one ride that Avaree had been looking forward to since we told her about it! This picture cracks me up! Brandon and Avaree were competing for points, and Felicity was sporadically pulling that little red lever to make us spin (in a lurch) from one direction to the other, so I was just trying not to throw up on my family! :) I wouldn't trade it though! No way that a little motion sickness would keep me from these memories! (P.S. This picture was captured through the little chips that are in our magic bands, so they were sent straight to our Memory Maker account! We are so glad that we bought the memory maker! It's the best souvenir!)

We also met Stitch. He was interesting to say the least. We moved on quickly.

Of course, we wanted to take a picture with Olaf! :) It was so funny trying to get the girls to point and look at a spot in the cement, and trying to explain to Ave that the photographer could superimpose Olaf in our picture! :) 

 Avaree was excited to meet Merida, but she was a little timid. She has only seen the movie once, and I'm not a huge fan of the whole turn your mom into a bear thing, so I never encouraged this princess! It was still fun to meet her though! 

Sweet Rapunzel! She was so precious with our girls! I love how "in character" all of the princesses are! :) Avaree asked her a question about the frying pan that she hit Flynn Ryder with, and she had a really cute response! 

 Cinderella has always been my favorite, and both of my girls love her too! Felicity even started saying, "Rella" while we were at Disney! :) She was enamored!

Next up, we headed to meet Tinkerbell at the Town Square Theater! :) She was precious! 

 Both girls were super happy to talk to her!!! She even had pixie dust on her! :)

 After meeting Think, we walked through another gift shop (Disney is brilliant that way), and Felicity found this giant Mickey. She carried it around (even though it was bigger than her), and she wouldn't stop hugging it. 

So, guess what happened? Her Daddy bought it for her! Daddy decided that she needed something special to remember the trip since she didn't get to ride everything that Avaree did! :) She wouldn't let the Mickey go for the rest of the trip, and she slept with him at night! :)

Of course, Mickey needed to ride in the Stroller too!

 Next up, Daddy held Mickey while we rode The Regal Carousel! Both girls loved it!

We had a fast pass for Enchanted Tales with Belle, and Avaree LOVED getting to help act out the story of Beauty and the Beast for Belle herself! Avaree got to be the silverware, and she danced around the room with Belle! It was magical!

Then, we headed back to one of the girls' favorites, Dumbo! I started crying when I took this picture because I realized that as magical as Disney was, the best part was just having fun with my family for four whole days! It was pretty much a dream!

 It was starting to look like rain, but we had a fast pass for Daddy and Avaree to ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, but we had about 45 minutes to spare, so Felicity and I found some shade for her nap, while Daddy and Avaree rode Splash Mountain! This wasn't originally in our plans, but the wait time was only 25 minutes, and it already looked like rain, so they got in line! They both LOVED it! I took this picture, and you can see Avaree's red bow on the front row next to her Daddy (if you look closely)! :)

This picture is what their magic bands picked up! Look at those smiles!!!! 

After this ride, it did start to rain, and it was the ONLY time (even though it rained every day) that we got rained on! Thankfully, our stroller came with a rain cover, and B and I had ponchos from his conference, so we were fine! :) It was a fun memory though, and Felicity loved playing in the puddles after it was over!

The rain didn't last though, and we had to take a few pictures of the whole family (baby #3 and Mickey included) on Main Street in front of the castle!

 Love this one!!! I wonder if there is a happier place on Earth? ;)

 ….and then it was time for our big finale and Magic Kingdom!!! It was time to meet Elsa and Anna!!!!!! The line was sooooo long all day, and we just walked right in with our Fast Pass, and Avaree immediately became shy because she was so nervous to meet them! :)

…and that was our third day at Disney!!! We had the very BEST days at Magic Kingdom!!!! That night, Daddy surprised us with dinner at a real sit-down restaurant in our hotel! Aside from our two character meals, we had been eating cereal for one meal and quick service food for the other meal every day. So, we were so ready for some real food. It was the best food I had ever put in my mouth, and I got some vegetables!!! :) Then, we came back to our room and got ready for bed since the next day would be our last day at Disney! 
What a magical day! :)
