This has been such a big month for Brandt developmentally! He is still crawling on his belly some, but he has also started crawling on his knees as well! He pulls up on everything, he can take 4-5 steps holding our hands, and he can take several steps behind the walker. He has also recently started standing by himself for a few seconds at a time! He's growing SO fast!
Size: Brandt is still wearing size 4 diapers! He wears 12 month and 12-18 month clothes! He is also in size 4 shoes! I can't believe we are only two months away from having a one-year old!
Brandt has several tricks right now, but one of our favorites is "touchdown!" He holds his little harms up in the air (and usually grins)! He also points at things, belly laughs when we tickle him, and waves "hi" and "bye bye!" He also has a few words! He says, "Dada, Mama (finally!!!!), Hi Dada, and Bye Bye!" Brandt also points, signs "all done" and "more," and he reaches for who he wants. He stands up in his crib (and everywhere else), and he loves to push his trucks or small objects away and then chase after them. :)
Brandt still loves to eat! He still gets four bottles of 4 to 6 ounces, depending on the time. He eats three solid real meals a day! He still lets me know if it's past his 8, 12, and 5 eating times. ;) He still loves grapes and watermelon, gf chicken nuggets, gf pancakes, gf meatballs, green beans, pasta, egg and sausage frittatas, chicken, turkey, arrowroot cookies, mum mums, grilled cheese, tortillas, macaroni, squeezies (he still gets one per day), bananas, puffs, cherries, and so much more that I'm forgetting! He's our best eater, by far! ;)
Brandt is still a great sleeper! He still takes a morning nap around 8:45, and he takes his afternoon nap around 1pm! He goes to sleep at 7 every night, and he almost always sleeps through the night (minus the last week and a half or so)!
Brandt puts both of his hands around my face and plants big, wet kisses all over my face. Sometimes, those end in a bite. His poor little gums are so swollen. He has been teething so badly, but he still only has two teeth on the bottom, and nothing else on the horizon. When he smiles, he lights up your heart! We now have two gates to keep him contained in the living room, and he is way more active than the girls ever were, but oh how we love him. :) It doesn't take much to make him happy!
We love you, Bubbie/Monkey/B Ryder/Brandt! You're our favorite little guy!!!!
You are still over-loved by your sisters, but you are beginning to give them a taste of their own medicine! ;) This picture below makes me laugh!
