I unexpectedly had several photo shoots in May! God always provides. This particular day was overcast, crazy windy, and we were under a tornado watch and severe thunderstorm warning, but I had a beautiful Senior girl, and I was five minutes from home, so we went ahead and finished our shoot! I was home before the crazy started! :)
In May, the littles and I finished up our study of Revelation. I have so enjoyed Bible Study Fellowship this year. I have learned SO SO much, and I know that Felicity and Brandt have as well. Felicity sings all the hymns that she has learned, and she always tells me about the lesson. It is so neat to watch her begin to understand who Jesus is and what he is done for her. Childlike faith makes her so excited for heaven, and after studying Revelation more in depth that I ever have before, I long for Heaven as well. I just have no comprehension of a world without sin. This is just one page of the spiral full of lecture notes that I took this year. One (of the many) reason that I love BSF so much, is that the lecture portion reminds me of college, and I get to learn about Jesus with my best friends on the pew next to me. It has been such a gift to me this year.
One morning, our friend Graham came to play with us while his Mommy had a meeting. He and Brandt were hilarious together!
We also voted to re-elect our favorite Ranger John!!! The littles got stickers at the Junior League while I voted! :) Early voting is hands down THE BEST.
I braved lunch with the two littles and big sister again! :) Avaree's Kinder days are waning, so I'm trying to go as often as we can! One day, she won't run to me with all of that passion and have tears in her eyes when I leave! I'm trying to soak it up!
Little man has had a crazy cold for almost three weeks, and one night I just "had" to rock him to sleep. I never rock him (mostly because that is just not his thing), but I took full advantage of his weak state, and I may have held him for an entire hour before I put him down! ;)

Looking at this picture was what prompted me to want to get some eye cream (haaaa), but I still adore it. Love those girls SOOOOO much.

Avaree is speaking and writing in Spanish now. It blows my mind. The goal (per her principal) is for the students in the academy to be bilingual by third grade and biliterate by 6th grade! So thankful for this opportunity for my girl!
One afternoon, the littles "washed Brandt's car" with the water house! (Good idea, Mom Mom!!) They had a ball, until they sprayed each other!
Mommy and Daddy got to have a date to Avaree's Spring showcase! Thanks for staying with the sick people, Mom!

Meanwhile, I read a wonderful parenting book that I keep coming back to. This was such a gripping part of the book! I took a picture of this page and sent it to Brandon and some friends. So good!
That weekend, Avaree and Daddy got to go to Houston for Blair's 2nd birthday party!! Sadly, Mommy and the babies had to stay home because Felicity had a contagious virus, and Brandt had a cold. It is no fun being separated, and Mommy had 16 hours of training to complete as well, but I'm so glad that they got to go! I know a big cousin that had a blast!
They were supposed to stay through Sunday, and I was trying to keep my big girl panties on and tell them to stay, but Brandon and Avaree pulled in around midnight on Saturday night, and I was so happy! I loved having all of my babies (and my husband) with me on Mother's Day!
B and I are on Whole 30, so I do a lot of cooking these days. So, he treated us to Jason's Deli, so we could get a yummy salad, and the kids could enjoy grilled cheeses! We are always reminded why we don't go out to eat with Brandt very much (he's just at that age where it is hard for him to stay still), but we still had a great time! :)
I was acutely aware of the pain that many close to me were feeling on this day, so I held my three extra close, and I'll forever count it my rich blessing to be their mama.
I put Felicity to bed that night, and about thirty minutes later, she came in my room grinning and holding all five of her babies. :) She's just too cute sometimes.
That Monday, the babies and I went to our sweet friend, Kaelyn's, birthday party at Chuckee Cheese! I didn't realize that Felicity has never been there before! She was enamored, and Brandt was, too! ;)
She loved the pizza, since we haven't had any in awhile. The kids aren't eating 100% whole 30, but they are eating even more healthy than usual!
I had to go through pictures to find a baby picture of Brandon for something that they were doing at church, and I just love this one. I put it on my desk to take a picture of, and Felicity said, "That's Bubbie." Ha! I said, "No, that's your Daddy." She couldn't believe it! I'm sure it's like looking back in time for Gigi and G-Pops when they look at Brandt!
In other news, our resident architect continues to amaze us with he building skills. She always includes animals and princesses in her designs as well! :)
And, I had to document one of our last times to have all three in the tub together. I do it on nights that I'm by myself and just need to give them each a quick scrub, but there is literally no room left!!!
Thankful for these memories. :)
Can't wait for summer to have them all three at home with me again! As I write this, there are only 7.5 days of school left!!!! Wahoooo!
