The End of April!

This was the girls telling me how excited they were that Uncle D and Aunt J were having another baby! :)

Precious boy. He just looks straight into my heart. I can't imagine life without him!

I "borrowed" this from Spencer and Shannon! :) I miss them so much, and I saw this picture and had to have it! (I print all of my blogs in a book, so I wanted to include this to remember that sweet little hands fishing with her Daddy!

Sweet babies loving on each other during "rest time." Too bad the only one that rests is Felicity! ha! :) 

That evening, I was cooking in the kitchen, and Brandon and Avaree were sitting at the table. The next thing we knew, Felicity had gotten her little potty and some toilet paper, and she plopped herself down and went potty! IT WAS THE CUTEST THING EVER! :) 

Later that night, we were in the closet for THIS awful storm and it's 90+ mph winds! In fact, our tv went out, and an alert from WFAA came across my phone saying, "Take cover immediately in SW Arlington!" We knew it was serious!!! So, we did our usual drill! I strapped Brandt into his car seat, I made sure everyone had shoes on, we got flashlights, snacks and water, and we hunkered down in mama's closet! I am ready for severe weather season to be over! 

The next day was an emotional day for Mama. It was one year since my Grandaddy died and seven years since my Granny died. I cried on and off all day and just spent a lot of time remembering them and a lot of time loving on my babies. This picture is the last time that I saw my Grandaddy. I took the girls to Hemphill for Spring Break while Brandon was on a mission trip with the college students. I'm so glad that I went. He got to love on both girls, and I just love this picture of him and Felicity. 

My Mom sent this picture of me, and I enjoyed seeing that Felicity may have a little bit of me in her too! :) I don't ever thinks that she looks like me, but I can see that we favor each other when we were both two! 

On Friday, we went to visit Grandmother and Pop! The girls played and played, and G and P got to love on Brandt!

He was mesmerized with Pop's lamp!

That night, the girls were playing so sweetly before bed!

They have moments where they play so well together! I just love it!

On Saturday, we took a family trip to get sno cones at Annie's! It was so good, and we were able to treat everyone (but Brandt, of course) for less than $5.00! I think we'll be back!

Felicity loves to sit in the kitchen with me while I do the dishes! So, one evening I let her put her feet in the sink, and you would have thought I had given her a million bucks! She was so happy! :)

Sunday before church, I needed to get my makeup on, so I put all three of my babies in my bed and gave them books! Avaree read to all of them!

Avaree is the best! I love Brandt's little smile!

We borrowed this sweet outfit from the Smith boys, and we LOVE it!

Look at those sweet faces! Too bad I was busy taking their pictures and not putting my makeup on! We were almost late! HA! ;)

This beauty went to Kindergarten Roundup the next day. It felt like a little piece of my heart ripped away that night. Once she starts Kinder, there's no turning back. I know she'll love it, but she'll never be my little bitty again. :(

Brandt's Dedication and The Week that Followed… :)

Since most of our family was already in town, the day after Felicity's party we dedicated Brandt to the One that gave him to us! :) 

He looked A-DOR-A-BLE!!!!

Brandt's dedication had been planned for a few months, our church building had been evacuated the day before because of a potential gas leak at the oil wells next door, so we had church at Martin High School! It was actually really special and a sweet time with our church family and our family!

The lights were crazy, but I love Pastor Eric with brother! :) He actually carried Felicity and held Avaree's hand up the stairs and on to the stage for me. We are so thankful for Pastor Eric and his sweet family!

I mean, it's hard to get everyone to look at the same time! ;)

My Dad and Denise had to leave right after the service, and my Mom and Ken had to leave early that morning because they got a phone call that Pop Pop's Dad didn't have much time to live. Thankfully they were able to make it to get to tell Pop Pop's Daddy bye before he went to heaven!)

Thanks so much to everyone that celebrated with us!!! We are so thankful for Brandt's little life, and we can't wait to see what God does with him! 

Later that evening, after naps and playing and cuddles galore, it was bath and hair washing time! Felicity decided to grace us with a naked concert at the piano! ;)

The next day, I gave in and sat in the rocking chair with brother for an hour, so that he could get a good nap. I will continue to try to put him in his bed, but I sure loved snuggling him! :)

That evening, someone was SO happy to see his Daddy!

After a week at home with a sick sister and a stuffy nosed little brother, Big Sister got to go to a super fun birthday party! :)

That night, we were in the closet again with a tornado warning! It was bed time, so we got them ready little early, and we assumed it was coming. They were NOT happy! :) The severe weather has been just crazy this season!

Sweet boy!

He started coughing pretty bad, and he would cough, cough, and then choke. It scared me pretty badly, especially since Felicity was doing something similar. It reminded me of when Avaree had whooping cough, so I called our pediatrician, who called me back from BOSTON! She's absolutely amazing!! She was there to run the Boston Marathon, and she called me back because she cared about my kids! I can't even tell you how much that means to me! 

She suggested that I take Brandt straight to the Cook's Urgent Care in Mansfield, so off we went. They tested him, and he ended up being okay, but it was scary! He seemed happy while we waited though! 

It took several days for sister to feel better though. :(
