Barton/Goss Slumber Party 2013 :)

A few weekends ago, Jake, Ging, and Timber came over on Saturday morning, and we got to play all day, and then they spent the night with us, and we all went to church the next morning! It was precious time spent together, and it only made me miss them even more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Father's Day, Brandon!!!!!!!!!!

I took a few photos of Brandon and the girls together this weekend, and I thought he would like it if I dressed them up in their Aggie finest! :) The little cheer outfit that Licy is wearing was Ave's when she was little! :) 

I am so proud of Brandon--of the man he is and how God has molded him and used him, but I am most proud of the Daddy that he has become. My girls are so blessed to have a Daddy that wants to spend time with them, and that really is an amazing girl Dad. He lets Ave paint his fingernails (oops--was I supposed to say that?), he watches Princess movies, he has tea parties, and most importantly, he teaches them about God's love, tells them how much he loves them and how beautiful they are every single day. 

That means more to me than anything!

Brandon has been able to spend so much more time with Felicity than he did with Ave when she was bitty--due to work and school being at least an hour away one way. These pictures are so precious to me!

"Brandon Eric Barton, but I call him Daddy."

How old is your Daddy? 

"I think he is old, but it is okay if he wants to have a Princess party too. My 4th birthday party is in September."

How big is your Daddy? 

"Big as you."

What color are Daddy's hair and eyes? 

"Mommy, Avaree and sissy have blue eyes but not Daddy. His hair is maybe brown like yours."

What is Daddy's favorite food? 

"Popcorn and snuggling with me." 

What is Daddy's favorite color? 

"Daddy likes green, but I like purple."

Where does Daddy like to go?

 "...to church."

What does Daddy like to do for fun? 

"He likes to swing, and jump on the trampoline, and play golf with me."

Where does Daddy work? 

"...at the brown church." 

What does he do there? 

"He rocks in the band and is a conductor like this (she begins to conduct)." 

What is your favorite thing to do with Daddy? 

"Umm... I like to work with him, and maybe count. I like the baseball game too. I got cotton candy."

Why do you love your Daddy so much? 

"Because he is the best Daddy in the whole world!"

Happy Father's Day to my Dad, my Stepdad, and my Perchy today as well! :) We are so blessed by your influence on our lives and the lives of our girls! 

Avaree Grace and Fun with Friends!! :)

We have really enjoyed spending time with all of our new Arlington friends lately!!! We have had much more fun than these pictures even document, but as you can imagine, my hands are a little more full than they use to be, and sometimes that camera bag just doesn't make the cut! :) 

A couple of weeks ago, Phillip (Avaree's favorite boy friend: Brandon wants me to point out the space between those two words!!) and Mrs. Josie came over and hung out with us while Amelia was at school! The kids play so well together, and we love their company!! :) Phillip is a month older than Avaree, and she talks about him all the time. Two Sundays ago, after we got home from church, Avaree (out of the blue) said, "Mommy, Phillip got a haircut, and I like it!" :) Brandon almost spit his drink out! ;) Phillip is in Ave's Sunday School class, AND they are currently taking swim lessons together, so you will see more pictures of them soon! :) 

They had fun riding "Bullsye" and pretending that they were Woody and Buzz! :)

Isn't this PRECIOUS??? I would be fine if we went ahead and arranged the marriage. We can set the date for when they are 30! ;) hehe!

And, of course, booty shot swinging is necessary! :)

We also went to a little park by our house to play with Mrs. Holly and Kendall, and Mrs. Carrie and Cora! It was so fun! The whole play area was shaded, and I nursed Licy on the swing! :) The funniest part of this day was that after I got everyone loaded up and we left, I had to turn around. We were a few miles away when Avaree announced that we had left "baby brother" (he is pretend, was birthed by Avaree, is named "Uncle Spencer", and apparently he likes to swing) on the swing! ha! 

After we got home, Avaree got a surprise visit from one of her favorite First Hurst teenagers: Cheyann and her big sister Brittany! :) I thought Ave was going to lose her mind with excitement!

I wish I could fully express how amazing our new community has been. We already have precious friends, and we are looking forward to making more memories together! :) I even started a bible study on Sunday nights with a few amazing women, and Licy gets to come with me. Love our church, and the biblical community it develops, oh so much!
