Our Dream Disney Trip, Day 3: Magic Kingdom!

We started out Day 3 with the Magic Kingdom Welcome Show again! We loved it so much the day before, and it was also a great way to get a head start on all of our attractions for the day! :) Since we had completed 19 attractions the day before, we slowed our pace just a little for Day 3!! :) I knew that I was saving the very best activity for last on this day, so I tried to pace everyone to make it, as we had a fast pass to meet Elsa and Anna at 4:20 pm! 
On this particular morning, we ate Rice Krispies in our hotel room, and then we headed for Magic Kingdom! It was a beautiful morning, so we just enjoyed the 5-7 minute walk from our hotel! :) We walked straight up to gates, and the welcome show started about three minutes later! It was awesome! :)  I cried again, and the girls and Daddy loved it again! Have I mentioned that there is something just inherently magical about this place? (And it doesn't hurt that everyone calls you princess!) :)

After the welcome show, we headed straight for Tomorrowland to let Avaree and Daddy ride Space Mountain again! (When we ask Avaree her favorite thing about Disney World, she says it was riding Space Mountain with Daddy twice!!) We knew if we went first thing that we wouldn't need a fast pass, and they wouldn't have to wait! They said it was awesome! Do you see Ave in the front and screaming with a big smile on her face??! :)

 After they got off, we went straight to Buzz Lightyear! This was one ride that Avaree had been looking forward to since we told her about it! This picture cracks me up! Brandon and Avaree were competing for points, and Felicity was sporadically pulling that little red lever to make us spin (in a lurch) from one direction to the other, so I was just trying not to throw up on my family! :) I wouldn't trade it though! No way that a little motion sickness would keep me from these memories! (P.S. This picture was captured through the little chips that are in our magic bands, so they were sent straight to our Memory Maker account! We are so glad that we bought the memory maker! It's the best souvenir!)

We also met Stitch. He was interesting to say the least. We moved on quickly.

Of course, we wanted to take a picture with Olaf! :) It was so funny trying to get the girls to point and look at a spot in the cement, and trying to explain to Ave that the photographer could superimpose Olaf in our picture! :) 

 Avaree was excited to meet Merida, but she was a little timid. She has only seen the movie once, and I'm not a huge fan of the whole turn your mom into a bear thing, so I never encouraged this princess! It was still fun to meet her though! 

Sweet Rapunzel! She was so precious with our girls! I love how "in character" all of the princesses are! :) Avaree asked her a question about the frying pan that she hit Flynn Ryder with, and she had a really cute response! 

 Cinderella has always been my favorite, and both of my girls love her too! Felicity even started saying, "Rella" while we were at Disney! :) She was enamored!

Avaree got to meet Marie from Aristocats! :) Felicity thought it was Bella! ha :)

Next up, we headed to meet Tinkerbell at the Town Square Theater! :) She was precious! 

 Both girls were super happy to talk to her!!! She even had pixie dust on her! :)

 After meeting Think, we walked through another gift shop (Disney is brilliant that way), and Felicity found this giant Mickey. She carried it around (even though it was bigger than her), and she wouldn't stop hugging it. 

So, guess what happened? Her Daddy bought it for her! Daddy decided that she needed something special to remember the trip since she didn't get to ride everything that Avaree did! :) She wouldn't let the Mickey go for the rest of the trip, and she slept with him at night! :)

Of course, Mickey needed to ride in the Stroller too!

 Next up, Daddy held Mickey while we rode The Regal Carousel! Both girls loved it!

We had a fast pass for Enchanted Tales with Belle, and Avaree LOVED getting to help act out the story of Beauty and the Beast for Belle herself! Avaree got to be the silverware, and she danced around the room with Belle! It was magical!

Then, we headed back to one of the girls' favorites, Dumbo! I started crying when I took this picture because I realized that as magical as Disney was, the best part was just having fun with my family for four whole days! It was pretty much a dream!

 It was starting to look like rain, but we had a fast pass for Daddy and Avaree to ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, but we had about 45 minutes to spare, so Felicity and I found some shade for her nap, while Daddy and Avaree rode Splash Mountain! This wasn't originally in our plans, but the wait time was only 25 minutes, and it already looked like rain, so they got in line! They both LOVED it! I took this picture, and you can see Avaree's red bow on the front row next to her Daddy (if you look closely)! :)

This picture is what their magic bands picked up! Look at those smiles!!!! 

After this ride, it did start to rain, and it was the ONLY time (even though it rained every day) that we got rained on! Thankfully, our stroller came with a rain cover, and B and I had ponchos from his conference, so we were fine! :) It was a fun memory though, and Felicity loved playing in the puddles after it was over!

The rain didn't last though, and we had to take a few pictures of the whole family (baby #3 and Mickey included) on Main Street in front of the castle!

 Love this one!!! I wonder if there is a happier place on Earth? ;)

 ….and then it was time for our big finale and Magic Kingdom!!! It was time to meet Elsa and Anna!!!!!! The line was sooooo long all day, and we just walked right in with our Fast Pass, and Avaree immediately became shy because she was so nervous to meet them! :)

 ….and, oh, Elsa. She was just like we thought she would be! Avaree was ENAMORED with her!

…and that was our third day at Disney!!! We had the very BEST days at Magic Kingdom!!!! That night, Daddy surprised us with dinner at a real sit-down restaurant in our hotel! Aside from our two character meals, we had been eating cereal for one meal and quick service food for the other meal every day. So, we were so ready for some real food. It was the best food I had ever put in my mouth, and I got some vegetables!!! :) Then, we came back to our room and got ready for bed since the next day would be our last day at Disney! 
What a magical day! :)

Our Dream Disney Trip, Day 2: Magic Kingdom!!!

In preparing for our trip, I read the 2014 Disney Planning Guide cover to cover. The guide gave me so much information including a description of every ride at every park, every place to eat at every park, and so much inside information! I also got a discounted subscription to touring plans.com, and there I created our custom touring plans for each of our days at the park! Six months ago, I made our dining reservations, and 60 days ago I made our fast pass reservations for each day we would be in the parks!  I used the Touring Plan App and the My Disney Experience App while we were IN the parks! They were both great! 
I could say that every day was my favorite day, but this may have been my very favorite day! :) We got up and dressed and headed to Magic Kingdom for the Welcome Show! The girls ate breakfast in the stroller on our way over, and we were so pumped to get to "open the park" with Mickey and friends! :)

The park opens daily at 9am, but the welcome show starts at 8:40 am! I couldn't wait to take the girls!  They Mayor of Main Street USA welcomes everyone, and then he and the dancers sang us a Good Morning song! Soon, we heard the train coming into the station!

 The train was full of all of our favorites! Mickey and Minnie, Goofy, Daisy and Donald, Pluto, Mary Poppins, Elsa and Anna, Snow White, and a few more!!!

 They all sang and danced for us!

 …and then we counted backwards from 10 to help Mickey open Magic Kingdom! It was such a beautiful morning, and I B and I both were teary! It was so magic and nostalgic and wonderful to be there with our little family! 

 As soon as Mickey opened up the park, we headed down Main Street (with the other early birds) and followed our touring plan straight to Fantasyland! We knew that we would spend most of our day in Fantasyland!

 We began our adventure at Mad Hatter's Tea Party! The girls LOVED it! I could barely look over to wave at them (motion sickness), but I snapped this before they started!! :) They walked right on!

 Then, we rode Winnie the Pooh together, and, yes, we walked right on! We only waited once all day long, and it was ten minutes to see Ariel again! :) Yay for planning ahead!

This was Avaree and Daddy's first (of many) roller coasters!!! They are in the second seat from the front! She loved it!!!!

 Next up was Pete's Silly Side Show where we met Donald and Goofy (this was our second time to see Goofy, but the girls loved him again!!)!

 They were both pumped to see Donald! Avaree said this was his Donald of the Desert outfit!

 We were all so happy to get to see Minnie in her pink dress!! :) Look at Avaree's face!

 Next up, we bypassed all the thousands of people in line and used our fast pass for Peter Pan's flight! It was so fun getting to ride things all together! There were several opportunities for that in Fantasyland!

 Then, we hopped right on to our boat for It's a Small World! Daddy just loved it when our boat stalled out, and we got to listen to the American version of the song over and over and over again! :) Sister loved ALL the boat rides!

 On our way from Fantasyland to Adventureland, we stopped to see the "Move it, Shake it, Celebrate it Parade!" Woody was our favorite!!

 Sister fell asleep before the parade was over, so she and I headed for some shade, and then Daddy and Avaree went to get a special treat! (I packed snacks for us every day, but we did buy this special snack on a recommendation from a friend!

 

Daddy and Avaree LOVED the Dole Whip! Daddy sent pictures to Pastor Eric of him eating it! haha!

After their snack, and while sister kept snoozing, Daddy and Avaree climbed up the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse! :) 

Then, we all headed over to ride the Magic Carpet with Alladin and Jasmine! ;) 

 Then, we were on to the Jungle Cruise! Sister loved the elephants and waterfalls! :) Ave loved looking at the people!

 After that, we headed to lunch! Can you believe that we did ALL of that before 12:30 pm? We had the best morning! We had a cheap lunch at Pinnochio's Haus back in Fantasyland, so that we could be ready for Daddy and Ave to ride the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Roller Coaster on a fast pass at 1:15! They walked right now, and they LOVED it! Daddy especially loved that the wait time was 73 minutes, and he didn't wait at all! :)

After that, we rode Dumbo together (one of the girls' favorites! We rode it at least 4 times while we were there!), and Daddy and Avaree rode the Barnstormer again, since there was no wait time! Next, it was time for the only waiting of our day! We waited for ten minutes because Avaree really wanted to see Ariel in her grotto! :)



Then, it was time for one of my very favorite parts of the whole day! We went and got our front row spots for the Festival of Fantasy Parade!!!! This is Avaree's excited face!!!!

Beauty and the Beast opened the parade!!! It was soooooo much fun! Felicity ended up falling asleep (for nap #2 of the day) right before the parade started, so it was really fun to get to spend this special time with Avaree! :)

 She (okay, we) went bananas when we saw Elsa and Anna!!!!

 We ended our day with an awesome Fast Pass that I was able to switch for an earlier time at the last minute (Thank you, My Disney Experience App!). We had a pass for 5:20, but I was able to get one for 4:20, so we headed to tomorrowland for Daddy and Avaree to ride my very favorite ride, Space Mountain!!! Felicity and I enjoyed playing in the area around the entrance to Space Mountain while Daddy and Ave rode! 

 Somehow, she spotted the camera! :) B said she loved it!

 On our way out, we paused for a picture in front of the castle! As you can tell, it was about to rain! God was so so good to us though! It was around 4:30, and we were walking out of the park. It was cool and smelled like it would rain at any second, but it did rain a drop until we were out of the park, under the awning, and about to step onto the monorail to head back to our hotel! 

Thank you, Lord, for a wonderful day! We spent our evening relaxing in our hotel, eating Rice Krispies (we tried to just eat one sit down meal per day), and playing with our girls! Daddy got ready to head out on his adventure to get to the Aggie game! He rode a bus, a monorail, and a boat to get to the Boardwalk to watch the game! :) I put our happy, sleepy girls to bed, and I enjoyed an evening of reading while listening to the fireworks and rain from Magic Kingdom! :)
